The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW), on June 20, 2026, notified the commencement of provisions of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026 relating to the Marine Aids to Navigation Act, 2021.
Through the notification, the Central Government appointed July 8, 2026, as the date on which the amendments specified against Serial Number 74 of the Schedule to the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026, concerning the Marine Aids to Navigation Act, 2021, shall come into force.
Accordingly, the relevant amendments introduced under the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026, for the Marine Aids to Navigation Act, 2021, will become effective from July 8, 2026.
